Alan Arnold Karting

Profile: My passion for racing was born in the summer of 2008 at the age of 25, when I first experienced karting. In my short racing career I've raced in the Race of Champions 24Hr Kart race at Wembley Stadium, and the Le Mans 2009 & 2010, 24Hr Pro Kart races at the Alain Prost kart circuit in Le Mans, France.

I first started karting at Crawley doing indoor team challenge events with colleagues, which we were victorious on several occasions, including winning the "best of the best" shield. When the new Crawley centre opened in 2009, I recorded two of the three lap records.

I have also reached the semi finals in both the VXR Driver of the year (2008) & NKA Championship competitions (2009).

In 2010, our team achieved 4th in class at the Le Mans 24Hr endurance event, and in October 2010, achieved 2nd in class at the Daytona 24Hr in Milton Keynes, just a lap behind 1st! We're confident of hitting a top three position in both races in 2011.

Future Races: Below are upcoming events I'll be racing in

July 2011 - Le Mans 24Hr, France.
TBA - Daytona 24Hr, Milton Keynes.
