It's been a couple of months since I've last updated this page, and quite a bit has been done during this time.

The floor from the Micra has been removed and replaced with the floor from the Pulsar. This allows the 4x4 system, prop shaft, fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, handbrake and Pulsar suspension to be transferred across perfectly without any risk of Pulsar parts not lining up on the Micra body. The Pulsar floor is fitted, but needs a final alignment check before it's welded in.

Because the Micra body is a lot lighter than the Pulsar, the weight does not compress the standard Pulsar suspension enough, leaving a large gap between the wheel and the arch, even on Pulsar lowering springs. I'll probably have to get coilovers to solve this. Also, the wheels poke out the arches by a fraction. I was considering increasing the size to 15" with a lower profile to get better grip, but I'll need to be changing the offset too, or getting bigger arch extensions for the body.

The roll cage has been placed inside the car to see how it lines up. A couple of alterations are needed to get a good fit, but it won't need to go into the car's dashboard as originally thought.

The majority of the car's original wiring loom, and additional wiring that I included (stereo, alarm etc) have been removed, ready for the Primera/Pulsar wiring to go in it's place.

The pictures below were taken at various stages in the past month, and don't reflect it's current condition!
